A CTEEP teve participação ativa nos leilões promovidos pela Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (ANEEL) em 2011 e arrematou dois lotes de transmissão no leilão 004/2011, realizado dia 2 de setembro. Quando os empreendimentos arrematados estiverem concluídos, a Companhia estará presente em 15 unidades da Federação.
